Snowkite Soldier promotes and teaches an exciting new sport called Snowkiting!  It’s a thrilling alternative to skiing and snowboarding that combines windswept backcountry landscapes and miles of powder with the freedom to ride in places you never imagined.  By offering you an exceptional experience catered to your own skill level, you are sure to be riding on your own in no time.  We offer a variety of programs to suit your needs, ranging from half day beginner lessons to transition courses for kitesurfers.  We also run 3 adventure camps throughout the winter and are the founders and hosts of the largest snowkite event in the country,  Kite Soldiers.  All you need is a pair of skis or a snowboard; we’ll provide the rest. Our qualified instructors have access to the best Snowkite terrain in the country and are using the highest quality kite products on the market.  Snowkite Soldier is based in Sun Valley, Idaho and offers you, our customers an eco-friendly adventure that once discovered, allows you to never buy a lift ticket again.

Snowkiting is for anyone who knows how to ski or snowboard.  Snowkiting is not paragliding and todays equipment is user friendly, safe, affordable and doesn't require huge strength.  This sport is a combination of kite flying and skiing/snowboarding.  Ever fly a kite?  Ever ski or snowboard? You already have the skill sets required to learn this amazing sport.  Most of our students are riding on their own within the first few hours.  Can you afford to buy a ski resort?  Neither can I, so join me and find the next best thing to owning your own ski resort, pick up a kite and unlock the magic of this chairlift in a backpack.
